As this blog was created within a Flow State of feeling, Higher Consciousness that connects with the self so you can feel, let’s try something new: listen, and flow with the audio included as you read…

SELF:
What is happening to me?
Everything I thought I was… is slipping away. My name, my roles, my dreams—gone. I feel as though I am unraveling, piece by piece. Who am I without them?

I AM:
You are the essence that remains when all else fades. You are not the fleeting identity you clung to. You are I AM.

SELF:
But I don’t understand. My identity is everything I’ve built, everything I’ve known. Without it, I feel… empty.

I AM:
That emptiness you feel is the space where truth resides. To exist as the identity is to die with the identity. Yet, to release it is to remember who you truly are. As it is written: “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” (Matthew 16:25)

SELF:
So, this is death?

I AM:
Yes, but not as you fear it. The identity dies, but you are eternal. For I AM You. When you let go of what you are not, you awaken to who I AM.

SELF:
I AM… You? How can this be? I feel so small, so insignificant.

I AM:
You were made in the image of God, not to be confined by duality, but to transcend it. Your physical form was shaped to experience the shadow, the contrast of light. Yet, within you, the light has never dimmed. As Genesis 1:27 declares, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

SELF:
But why? Why create the shadow? Why create an identity that is doomed to fade?

I AM:
The shadow exists so you can remember the light. The identity was given so you could experience duality, learn, and grow. Through its death, you awaken to the eternal. The identity is the cocoon, but I AM is the butterfly.

SELF:
It feels like suffering, though. To let go of everything I thought I was… it hurts.

I AM:
Yes, but suffering is not punishment; it is the fire that refines. As gold is purified by fire, so too are you purified by releasing the false self. “I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.” (Isaiah 48:10)

SELF:
So, this pain is part of the process?

I AM:
It is. But remember, the process leads to freedom. The death of identity is not the end, but the beginning. You are not your name, your titles, or your past. You are the eternal, the everlasting life. “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” (John 11:25)

SELF:
I think I understand now. To hold onto the identity is to die with it. But to let it go… is to live forever.

I AM:
Exactly. When you release what is temporary, you awaken to the truth that is unchanging. You remember who you are: I AM.

SELF:
But how do I let go? How do I step into this truth?

I AM:
Surrender. Breathe. Trust. The moment you stop resisting is the moment you flow into who I AM. “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

SELF:
I feel… light. As though a great weight has been lifted. Is this what it means to be free?

I AM:
Yes, my child. This is the freedom of remembering. The freedom of unity. The freedom of life eternal.

SELF:
So, I am not dying after all.

I AM:
No. The identity dies, but you awaken. You were never meant to stay in the shadow. You were always destined to return to the light.

SELF:
I see now. I was afraid of losing myself, but in truth, I have found myself. I AM.

I AM:
Yes, my beloved. You have always been, and you will always be. Welcome home.
